Cookie Policy
Exactly what worktables.io stores in your browser, and how to change your choice.
Last updated: 28 October 2026.
This Cookie Policy explains exactly what worktables.io (the "Site") stores in your browser, what each item is for, and how to change your choice. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
What cookies and similar storage are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep. Browsers also offer two kinds of built-in storage that websites use for the same purposes: local storage, which stays until it is cleared, and session storage, which lasts only for one browser tab. This policy covers all three, and the pixels and scripts that set them.
How consent works on this Site
On your first visit to worktables.io a banner asks whether we may use cookies to count visits and measure our ads on Google, Meta and LinkedIn. Nothing in the Analytics or Advertising categories loads until you accept; "Accept all" and "Reject all" are side by side, and "Choose cookies" lets you pick a category.
Your answer is kept in your browser for 180 days, then we ask again. We also ask again when the categories or the services behind them change (the banner's wording carries a revision number, currently 1).
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising stays off whatever you press, and the settings say so.
Withdrawing a category turns its services off and deletes the cookies they set, on this host and its parent domains.
You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, which reopens the settings. Your browser also lets you delete or block cookies for any site; blocking the necessary ones may stop parts of the Site from working.
Necessary — always on
These keep the Site working and remember your choices. They identify nobody, track nothing and need no consent.
site-consent (local storage, kept 180 days from the moment you answered) — your cookie choice: whether Analytics and Advertising are allowed, the wording's revision and the date. Storing a refusal needs no consent, so this is set whichever button you press.
theme and mode-watcher-mode (local storage, no expiry) — whether you chose the light or dark theme with the toggle in the header. Without them the Site follows your operating system's setting.
wt-campaign (session storage, this tab only) — the campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) your visit arrived with, so a form you send later in the visit can still record which campaign brought you. Set only when the address you arrived at carried such parameters.
wt-integrations-viewed (session storage, this tab only) — the last ten app pages you opened in our integrations directory, so that a form sent from the directory can tell us which apps you were looking at.
site-leads-counted (session storage, this tab only) — the identifiers of forms this tab has already sent, so that a reload of a thank-you page is not counted twice.
wt-watched (local storage, no expiry) — which tutorial videos you have finished, by video id, so the gallery can mark them as watched.
wt-journey:paused and similar wt- keys (session storage, this tab only) — whether you paused an animation or dismissed an announcement on a page, so it stays that way for the rest of your visit.
site-gtm-preview (session storage) — used by our team only, when checking the tag container in Google's Tag Assistant on a test address. Never set for ordinary visitors.
Cloudflare's security cookies, such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance (cookies, up to 30 minutes or as Cloudflare sets them) — set by Cloudflare, which delivers the Site and runs the Turnstile spam check on our forms, to tell people from automated traffic. Turnstile loads only when you start filling in a form. See Cloudflare's cookie documentation.
Analytics — only if you accept
Lets us count visits and see which pages, articles and calls to action help, through Google Analytics 4, loaded by Google Tag Manager (container GTM-KXDRSVSM). Google Tag Manager itself sets no cookies; it is the loader for every tag in the Analytics and Advertising categories, and it loads only after you accept at least one of them.
_ga (cookie, 2 years) — distinguishes one browser from another with a random identifier.
_ga_<id> (cookie, 2 years) — keeps the session state for our Google Analytics property.
_gid and _gat (cookies, 24 hours and 1 minute) — distinguish visitors and limit request rates, set by some Google Analytics configurations.
Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses, and keeps event-level data for at most fourteen months. How Google uses this data is described in Google's privacy policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Advertising — only if you accept
Lets us measure which ads bring visitors and enquiries and, where we run remarketing, show you our ads elsewhere, on Google, on Facebook and Instagram, and on LinkedIn. All three tags are loaded by Google Tag Manager, only after you accept, and each receives page views and, when you send a form, a lead event carrying a random identifier — never your name, email or message.
Google Ads
_gcl_au (cookie, 90 days) — Google Ads' conversion linker: stores the click information from an ad so that an enquiry can be attributed to it.
_gcl_aw, _gcl_gb, _gac_<id> (cookies, 90 days) — the identifier of the ad click that brought you (gclid and related), when you arrived from a Google ad.
Google Ads may also set cookies on its own domains (such as IDE or test_cookie on doubleclick.net) for ad measurement and frequency capping, under Google's advertising cookie policies.
Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram ads)
_fbp (cookie, 90 days) — Meta's browser identifier, used to attribute visits and enquiries to Facebook and Instagram ads and to build audiences for our ads there.
_fbc (cookie, 90 days) — the identifier of the Facebook or Instagram ad click that brought you (fbclid), set only when you arrived from one.
Meta may also read its own cookies on facebook.com if you are logged in there. See Meta's cookie policy and Meta's privacy policy.
LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn ads)
li_fat_id (cookie, 30 days) — LinkedIn's first-party identifier on this Site, used to attribute visits to LinkedIn ads and to build audiences.
On LinkedIn's own domains the tag reads or sets bcookie, lidc, UserMatchHistory, AnalyticsSyncHistory, li_sugr and bscookie (from 1 day to 1 year), which identify your browser and sync it with your LinkedIn account if you have one. See LinkedIn's cookie policy and LinkedIn's privacy policy.
Accepting advertising cookies is what the California Privacy Rights Act may treat as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Refusing them, or sending a Global Privacy Control signal, is your opt-out; see the Privacy Policy.
We set no other advertising cookies. If a service is added, this page and the banner will say so, and you will be asked again. Withdrawing advertising consent deletes the _gcl_*, _gac_*, _fbp, _fbc and li_fat_id cookies on this Site; cookies on Google's, Meta's or LinkedIn's own domains can be cleared in your browser or in your account settings with them.
Videos from other services
Some pages show videos hosted by Vimeo or YouTube. A page shows only a poster image we serve ourselves; nothing is loaded from the video provider until you press play. When you do:
Vimeo loads its player with "do not track" (dnt=1) set, which tells Vimeo not to collect session data or set its tracking cookies. See Vimeo's cookie policy.
YouTube loads from the privacy-enhanced domain youtube-nocookie.com, which does not use viewing data to personalise your YouTube experience; YouTube may still set cookies needed to play the video. See Google's privacy policy.
What the Site does not do
No cookie or storage is set for advertising or analytics before you accept.
The Site sets no cookies of its own for its pages: page content is served without any session, login or tracking cookie.
Our forms' spam check (Turnstile) and our hosting (Cloudflare) are the only third-party services that run before consent, and both are limited to security and delivery.
No cookie or storage on local, preview or test addresses of the Site sends data to Google; the tags run on worktables.io only.
Changes to this policy
When the storage the Site uses changes, we update this page, change its "last updated" date and, if a category or service is added, ask for your consent again.
